Job Description
Job Summary:


Reporting to Head of Research, Insights and Analytics, this senior leadership role at the intersection of MarTech, AdTech, Data Science and Consumer Insights will drive transformation around how we bring together consumer research, syndicated measurement services, our first party data and advanced analytics capabilities to create world class insights that fuel key business decisions for Disney Entertainment.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with stakeholders on data management, advanced modeling techniques, and optimization solutions that fuel growth for each business segment.
  • Lead measurement innovation efforts and evaluate current and emerging measurement and analytics solutions in the marketplace for content measurement. Closely collaborate with Disney Ad Sales around cross media measurement to ensure we are leading the marketplace and demonstrating the value of our premium content across all platforms; while generating richer insights that provide 360 degree view of our consumers and content performance.
  • Develop solutions that consolidate existing research, insights, network audience intelligence, and automate access to enable rapid response.
  • Evolve cross platform content and audience measurement and forecasting methodologies to capture media fragmentation and shifts in consumer media consumption to provide holistic understanding on content consumption across all distribution platforms.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across Disney Entertainment to develop solutions that drive provide insights that enable marketing effectiveness and impact.
  • Modernize ad sales forecasting and analytics to address the ever changing media ecosystem of linear, digital, streaming while building roadmap for any future new product offerings.
  • Partner with data teams across TWDC to define source of truth for multiple data sets and research methodologies to triangulate insights that enable business decision-making


Qualifications:


  • Understand marketing, media and advertising ecosystem. Work experience across media buy-side, sell-side and measurement firms is preferred. Have In-depth knowledge and understanding of media measurement, forecasting, and planning, especially TV, digital media and streaming.
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud service such as AWS, Azure, GCP and programming skills in Python, R and SQL. Ideally, 5 years of people management experience in leading team of data scientists, data analysts, and data engineers to create solutions that are rooted in business objectives
  • 4+ years’ experience in cross platform and cross media measurement. This includes measurement innovation and involvement in current and emerging cross media currency development and forecasting for content and advertising is strongly preferable.
  • 15+ years’ experience in media and advertising measurement including, but not limited to content measurement, audience measurement, brand measurement, attribution measurement, and Marketing & Media Mix Modeling.
  • Proven experience in leveraging marketing science to measure marketing & media effectiveness and efficiency and help senior leadership form data driven marketing and media investment strategy and optimization. Experience in measuring pricing elasticity and sales channel effectiveness is a plus.
  • Advanced degree in Statistics, Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or a related field, PhD is preferable.
  • Strong communication skills to bridge between business, analytics, data, and technology functions.
