Farnsworth Group is seeking a Survey Crew Chief in any of our Colorado offices (Colorado Springs, Denver and Fort Collins). This position entails performing a wide variety of surveys in various locations. There is up to 80% expected travel. This is not a contract position; we are looking to fill a permanent position where you will have the opportunity to establish and develop a career in Land Surveying.
Job Activities:
  • Boundary Surveys
  • Construction Layout
  • As-Built Pipeline Surveys
  • UAV Surveys
  • Topographic Surveys
  • 3D Scanning
  • ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys
Specific Requirements include:
  • Ability to execute field staking
  • Strong math skills
  • Ability to read Construction Plans
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 3+ years of property survey experience, including ALTA and Section Line Surveys
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with Trimble GPS, Total Station and Data Collectors
  • Ability to organize field notes
  • Experience performing Boundary Research, preferred
  • 80% travel required
  • LSIT, preferred

Salary Range: $20 - $30 per hour (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
