As the Surgery Biller, you will be responsible for: * Effectively and consistently generating revenue through professional billing practices and ethical collections efforts * Handling all debt related matters for professional billing and collections * Quality control checks on paper claims * Ensure timely filing guidelines are met * Process check tracers * Correct Payment postings * Follow-up on denials and related correspondence * Initiate appeals including drafting, composing, and submitting appeal letters specific to coding issues consistent with the most updated AMA Current Procedural Terminology * Handle a high volume of Accounts Receivable Salary Range: $26.85 - $35.41/Hourly

We're seeking an exceptional, self-directed professional with: * A minimum of two years of recent professional medical billing/collections experience. * Detailed knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPC and Modifiers. * Skill in reading correspondence, denials, EOB's and all other insurance forms. * Skill in drafting appeals, identifying denial reason and ability to secure payment of denied claims. * Knowledge of online registration procedures including payer data and financial classes. * Knowledge of MS Outlook, WORD, and Excel software. * Effective multi-tasker in order to meet daily production and quality standards. * Frequent use of computer, fax, copier, printer, calculator, telephone, other general office appliances.
