Medical Biller/Collector - Remote | Wfh

We're looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Collections and Billing Specialist. As part of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of collection measures for uncollected accounts, analyzing accounts to determine payment amounts, and preparing billing statements.
As a Collections Specialist, you'll be in charge of contacting insurance companies, third parties, and private payers regarding outstanding billing in an organized, professional, and efficient manner. You'll work closely with our team to follow-up on outstanding billings and collaborate on denials and escalation.
As a Billing Specialist, you'll gain a working knowledge of insurance billing processes and analyze billing data prior to submission to ensure quality. You'll also run weekly and monthly reports to prepare billable data in advance of billing and provider statistics for billed and unbilled data. You'll work collaboratively with team members to ensure billing accuracy.
To be successful in this role, you should have a winning attitude and work well under deadlines. You'll be someone who is organized, with great attention to detail and a strong customer service focus. It would be beneficial if you have prior experience in medical billing, eligibility, or medical collections.
