Supply Planning Analyst Jobs

Responsibilities:The Supply Planning Analyst will be responsible for analysis in regard to inventory optimization. Key activities will include data collection, maintenance, and analytics reporting. This position recommends SKU level opportunities to right-size safety stocks that support maximizing working capital and customer service level targets. You will be responsible for leading supply chain projects that involve performing complex or involved analysis in situations where independent data gathering, requirements definition, selection of analytical methodologies, and/or data presentation is required.

Your primary activities will include but are not limited to:

• Support decision-making and the improvement of critical processes including Production Scheduling, Materials Planning, Manufacturing, Inventory Planning, Capacity Planning, Transportation Planning, Distribution Resource Planning, and Supply Chain Execution.
• Responsible for effectively reporting results to business stakeholders through verbal, written, or formal presentation modes.
• Collect data across the supply chain to perform analytics and reporting to cross-functional teams and upper management (KPIs, S&OP, other reports as required)
• May be asked to support Procurement and Supply Planning in generating reports as assigned by the Supply Planning Manager
• Performing data audits and reporting out to key partners
• Responsible for analysis that requires optimization and/or balancing multiple quantitative and qualitative considerations.
• Detailed and deadline-orientated to meet regular and periodic needs of the business for accurate and timely information.
• Bring together stakeholders for decision-making, review, and direction on major initiatives/Projects.
• All other assignment, responsibilities and projects as assigned by management.
• Ability to push forward on projects, even when all of the requirements have not been defined.
• Build processes, systems, and organizational capabilities needed to sustain major functions of the business.
• Conduct cross-functional Supply Chain analysis and decision-making where the modeling of flows, inventory levels, and cost of manufacturing, distribution, transportation, and inventory is involved.
• Contributing to discussions of data structures and system requirements and contributing to discussions of priorities and best use of internal resources.

Qualifications:You’ll need the following (minimum qualifications):

• Must be able to create a professional presentation of results, ability to construct results that “tell a story”, and ability to lead an audience to the proper conclusions or decisions relevant to the situation
• Physical ability to lift 10-25 pounds and sit, climb, balance, stoop, and kneel
• Knowledgeable in MS suite programs and data visualization tools
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, mathematics, engineering, business, or related field required; Master’s degree in business, operations research, or related field preferred
• Ability to translate data into simple reports and actionable items
• MS Office including Excel, Word and Powerpoint
• Flexible and able to work in a rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to independently perform complex analysis where data gathering, working with internal and external stakeholders, selection of analytical methods, and synthesizing many quantitative and qualitative inputs is required
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Frequent report-writing and e-mail communication are a must

A reasonable estimate of the current Salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education. Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
