A supply planner delivers business value by developing tactical and strategic store inventory plans and establishing inventory levels for assigned products to achieve customer service, supply chain and financial objectives.


As a Supply Planner, you will…


  • Determines necessary sequence of activities to achieve both short- and long-term goals.
  • Works with supplier and/or manufacturing plants to ensure the buy plan changes can be supported and collaborates to resolve supply gaps.
  • Understands the impact of planning decisions on the entire supply chain, including stores; balances inventory across the network accordingly.
  • Utilizes the system, exception reports, and communicates with suppliers, to identify risk and put a plan in place with support and guidance from manager.
  • Has proficiency in the ERP system and reporting tools to accomplish inventory planning and execution.
  • Proactively builds relationships with both internal & external business partners to support effective collaboration.
  • Ensures the right inventory is at the right place to ensure service and recommends optimum inventory level.
  • Understands necessary audience, including leaders, and tailors communication to promote collaborative responses.
  • With guidance, understands what needs to be accomplished, and can effectively work with others to create processes that enhance or streamline workflow within their specific area of control.


We’d Love To Hear From People With


  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; ability to balance multiple priorities to meet deadlines; ability to work both independently and as part of a team; proficiency in ERP systems and other computer applications including advanced MS Excel skills; strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills; effective presentation skills; knowledge of supply chain or inventory management processes
  • 4-year college degree in Supply Chain or related Business field
  • 1+ years of experience in supply chain
  • Effective use of planning systems; experience managing supply plans; supply chain planner experience; effective presentation skills
