Job Summary
The Aerospace Supply Chain organization is searching for a talented and dynamic Supply Chain Subcontracts Staff member. Our Supply Chain organization manages all aspect of procurement for The Aerospace Corporate. We provide the opportunity to be a part of a diverse organization that purchases a wide range of capital, indirect, and government-funded products and services.
The SUPPLY CHAIN SUBCONTRACTS ADMIN STAFF II serves as Procurement and Purchase Card (P-Card) Compliance Officer; acts as a department resource for corporate and federal procurement topics, policies, and procedures; acts as a liaison for internal and external procurement audits as well as conducts internal audits; acts as lead for P-Card program compliance; and manages the Supply Chain Purchase Card program.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Responsible for approving procurement actions for compliance with corporate and procurement policies, procedures (both indirect and direct charge), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Public Law; coordinates with procurement managers and buying personnel for internal and external procurement audits.
  • Manages day-to-day activities of the P-Card program – responsible for approving transactions.
  • Designs and deploys P-Card program training materials; conducts training sessions on new and revised procurement procedures and related procurement topics.
  • Strategizes and develops policies and procedures for procurement processes and advises staff on changes to procurement policies, procedures, and regulations; provides guidance in the implementation of FAR and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) regulations.
  • Interacts with all levels of employees, management, and internal customers.
  • Manages P-Card program; develops audit tools and criteria to measure P-Card program compliance; conducts audits of the program to ensure compliance.
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:
  • 3 or more years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s Degree or 1 or more years of relevant experience with Master’s Degree
  • Knowledge of procurement practices, standards, and methodologies
  • Experience working in Supply Chain, Procurement, FAR/DFARS Compliance, or related function
  • Experience in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other government regulations
How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
  • Knowledge/Experience with SAP
  • Demonstrated experience in P-Card program management
  • 3 or more years of direct experience with government purchasing (Request for Proposals, Sole Source Justifications, etc.)
  • Master’s degree iin Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
