The Supply Chain Planning Lead role represents supply chain a whole when interfacing with business and commercial leaders in the region (US) by connecting demand, supply, and Deliver.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for setting and achieving annual regional inventory business plan ($ and DOS), setting safety stock levels, managing inventory tracking processes and reconciliation (i.e. actual vs. plan), and identifying/implementing inventory reduction opportunities for products in scope.
  • Responsible for identifying and initiating planning scenarios to drive/support decision making through the process.
  • Own the regional service review meeting with commercial and business partners to communicate service risks and actions for assigned product portfolios.
  • Build collaborative relationships with team members including Marketing, Manufacturing, Finance, External Operations, NPI, R&D, and Quality.
  • Support and/or lead supply chain/planning projects as needed (e.g. improve supply chain flexibility, reduce costs, etc.).
  • Prepare related presentations for senior management with minimal coaching as required.
  • Responsible for tracking regional demand plan (S&OP forecast) vs operations plan vs financial plan.
  • Responsible for attaining and driving improvements to Key Performance Indicators, including forecast accuracy (MAPE, bias), inventory entitlement, Slow Moving/Obsolete (SLOB), and customer service (OTIF/ BO).
  • Support and facilitate the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)/ Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process for assigned product portfolios to align market and financial requirements with manufacturing capabilities, and to communicate risks, opportunities, and scenarios while driving decisions to support business goals.
  • Drive supply chain activities for BWI (regional) end-to-end supply chain planning, including demand forecasting, new product launch planning, finished goods inventory planning for assigned product portfolios.
  • Create and apply in-depth analytical tools to support issue resolution, decision making, and execution oversight.
  • Responsible for identifying and driving improvements of the S&OP/ IBP, demand, inventory planning processes, including planning and parameters. Understand impact of required changes.
  • Lead the long-term product portfolio supply chain strategy by partnering with Global Strategic Marketing and New Product Management to develop demand scenarios and strategies. Collaborate with Manufacturing and/or External Operations on corresponding supply scenarios and strategies. Communicate and elevate concerns to management to ensure an appropriate response strategy is developed and deployed.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications

Education:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university degree is required. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent university degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Technology, Logistics, or Operations is preferred. A Master’s degree or equivalent university degree is preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Proven track record of challenging the “status-quo”, visualizing potential opportunities and implementing actions to build customer value
  • High proficiency and advanced understanding in Microsoft Excel
  • Proven data analytics and quantitative skills
  • Attention to details and follow thru till completion is a must
  • Understanding of planning system functionality, planning parameters, data integrity, net requirement inputs, and integration into S&OP/ IBP and supply chain processes
  • Ability to inspire change and influence decision-making through multiple levels (Analyst, Manager, Director) of the organization
  • High sense of urgency, adaptable to meet rapidly changing priorities
  • Previous experience within one or all of demand (forecast management), inventory, supply network planning, and/or supply planning
  • Must demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Experience in a regulated industry in supply chain, operations, finance, and/or marketing is required
  • A minimum of six (6) years related work experience
  • Understanding of end-to-end supply chain interactions and interdependencies

Preferred:

  • Six Sigma and/or LEAN Green Belt and APICS certifications.
  • Experience with Manugistics (Blue Yonder) planning, Microsoft Access and/or SQL.

Other:

  • Travel: May require up to 10% travel.
  • English proficiency required

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $88,000 to $142,600.

The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
