Supply Chain Manager (Walmart Bdt)

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager who will join our Walmart BDT team. This position will be primarily based at The Scotts Miracle-Gro office in Bentonville, AR.

The Supply Chain Manager plays a critical role in meeting sales and supply chain goals for Scotts. They will lead and develop an Analyst. This role will manage supply chain activities for our Growing Media category as well as other emerging categories such as AeroGarden and Ecommerce. This role interacts weekly with the sales team and planning to develop strategies and forecasts that influence ordering and sell thru. They will also interact with Walmart Replenishment and Buying teams, and Walmart transportation as well as Scotts Growing Media operations. Key responsibilities include forecasting, adjusting for trends or features, inventory control and order management. This role influences replenishment decisions and insures those actions are incorporated into planning at Scotts, therefore contributing to favorable cash flow and inventory objectives.

What you’ll do in this role:

• Manage in-stock levels, inventory positions and POS trends by working with sales and customer teams as well as utilizing reporting in Scotts and Customer’s systems
• Maintain alignment and shipment flow with Scotts Operations and Distribution locations
• Continually improve OTIF and SQEP metrics and drive the appropriate behavior to achieve Walmart’s desired score and eliminate fines.
• Become an expert in replenishment and transportation systems to provide support and direction based on customer requirements
• Be a key contributor to the consensus process through financial forecasting and SOP to develop and accurate and predictable shipment forecast for the categories this role manages
• Partner with Scotts sales teams to provide expertise in Lawn and Garden
• Actively participate with BDT sales team in customer meetings
• Manage and develop analyst
• Daily internal cross-functional interactions

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Retail, Inventory Planning/forecasting role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• Proficient in MS Office; including advanced proficiency in Excel.
• System Experience using SAP, JDA (Manugistics) or similar ERP systems.
• Business experience in Demand and Replenishment Planning in either a retail or consumer products manufacturing environment.

The starting budgeted pay range for this role will generally fall between $105,700.00 - $124,300.00 per year. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
