The Supply Chain Manager will lead Material Resource Planning (MRP) and warehousing, work with procurement and participate in the Sales and Operations Planning process. Will also ensure that operations planner(s) develop production plans while meeting working Capital limits and ensure that delivery commitments are met or exceeded.

Some of the Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager include:

• Monitor and disposition aged inventory.
• Communicate with other production plants for inter-plant supply and production planning to meet Sales demand.
• Implement SAP planning and MRP planning and scheduling parameters to automate Supply Chain planning processes.
• Responsible for planning, scheduling, shipping, receiving, warehouse management and inventory control.
• Direct warehouse activities to ensure proper material identification, correct SAP locations and physical layout to best utilize warehouse space and material flow.
• Effectively improve transactional accuracy of inventory including bill of materials corrections, production posting and other sources of inventory error.
• Train, develop, mentor, and evaluate performance of subordinates.
• Collaborate with corporate purchasing and quality to ensure supplier performance issues are addressed and corrected.
• Ensure inventory cycle counts are performed for inventory management.
• Participate in all Sales and Operations Planning plant related processes including supply planning and working capital data analysis standpoint.
• Perform statistical analysis on historical demand for finished goods, raw materials, and intermediates.
• Plan and schedule raw materials, intermediates, and finish goods to meet customer demand.

Some of the Requirements/Qualifications of the Supply Chain Manager include:

• Understanding of order entry, demand planning and inventory management
• Minimum of 7 years of supply chain experience
• 3 years of managing exempt direct reports is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in area of specialty or 5 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Demonstrated computer skills including, but not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); and SAP.
• Experience overseeing quality control and raw materials programs.
• Strong leadership skills, independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques.
