Who We’re Looking For


Toyota’s Greensboro, North Carolina Battery Plant (TBMNC) Manufacturing Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Production Control Supply Chain Manager.


The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the parts & raw materials ordering operations for TBMNC.


Reporting to the Production Control (PC) Senior Manager the person in this role will support the Production Control department's objective to ensure the integrity of TBMNC’s supply chain at all times and under all conditions.


What You’ll Be Doing


  • North American and Overseas Parts Ordering oversight.
  • Component Part Engineering Changes (ECI) coordination and production reporting.
  • Supplier issues (short-shipping, order tracking, pipeline visibility, etc.).
  • Support ideal supply chain goals through analysis (inventory management, sleep time, overflow, P-lane, frequency, etc.).
  • Coordination of all internal and external supply chain stakeholders.
  • Raw Materials & General Stores management – including North American and overseas freight, cost kaizen, and inventory management.
  • Contingency/Crisis Management.
  • Coaching, Team Member Development, and Problem-solving.
  • Meeting or exceeding business targets for PC/TBMNC.


What You Bring


  • Inventory management experience.
  • Project planning & schedule management experience.
  • Problem-solving and process improvement experience.
  • Direct functional experience in high-volume Parts Ordering processes and systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or equivalent work experience.
  • Direct functional experience in External Logistics Route Planning and Management.


Added bonus if you have


  • Problem-solving complete through panel (TBP).
  • Toyota Inventory and/or Supplier Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiation, consensus building, and a strong ability to prioritize resources while exceeding customer expectations.
  • Experience using KPIs for goal setting and process management.
