Supply Chain Manager- Hybrid- Seattle Area!

Adecco Search is recruiting on behalf of our client in the Greater Seattle area for the position of Supply Chain Manager. This is a hybrid position that will allow for a solid work/life balance. The ideal candidate will have experience in oversight of Inventory and Demand Planning, in addition to managerial experience (they will have a team of Buyers to supervise), 7 years of Supply Chain experience, as well as a background in the Building Products space.

Duties:

• Lead regional wide efforts on Daily Cycle Count and Annual Physical Inventory processes ensuring controls are in place, compliance to processes and operational excellence
• Develop internal and external relationships with vendors, sales, operations, functional support and other stakeholders to accomplish cross-function tasks
• Ensure purchase order accuracy while always striving to improve efficiency and effectiveness team processes
• Proactively manage regional inventory levels based on historical and anticipated future demand, leverage cross-functional resources available to assist and align to working capital requirements
• Lead a team to execute on, and expand centralized buying activities, measuring success, and leveraging relationships to provide capacity to field locations
• Identify, negotiate and track any and all regional and local “buy” opportunities that are in line with the strategic direction of the region and division
• Partner with Vice President-Northwest and Northwest regional team to define/refine/develop strategy in line with the division and company

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to work in a changing environment, see through complexity, with a high tolerance for ambiguity
• Strong influencing and coaching skills with proven experience in developing and coaching a team
• Ability to be effective in a highly matrixed environment, to communicate with and influence all levels of the organization and drive change
• 7+ years of purchasing/sourcing experience, preferably within the wholesale distribution industry, building products space.
• Proven experience in leading a large, diverse and regionally dispersed team
