Foxtrot is seeking a Supply Chain Data Analyst to develop and operate the data processes supporting our retail and ecommerce business.

The Supply Chain Data Analyst will be responsible for setting up new suppliers and new items in Foxtrot’s supply chain systems. This part of the role will require this person to work cross-functionally with the merchandising teams. This role will also be responsible for reporting and analyzing trends in inventory management, supplier performance, and product assortment performance. Lastly, the role will be the primary support to our store operations teams for data integrity.

This person will need to be able to work cross-functionally with merchandising and store operations teams. Their work is foundational to all of our business processes, making this role very interconnected with other teams. While the role is primarily technical in nature, the ideal candidate will need to exhibit a servant leadership mentality to support our store operations teams.

Responsibilities

• (25%) Generate and analyze reports for sales, inventory management, supplier performance, and product assortment performance. Reports will come from dashboards or self-made spreadsheets
• (10%) Support inventory and product issue troubleshooting with ad hoc data reporting
• (20%) Lead and organize the operational support that supply chain and merchandising provide to store operations through the trouble ticketing system
• (30%) Performs general administrative tasks that set up and maintain supply chain and merchandising data: supplier set up in supply chain systems, product data entry, and data maintenance (such as taxonomy, dimensions, units per case, item description, cost and price updates, and item status), ecommerce availability, price labels, document preparation for new store openings and new vendors,
• (15%) Own projects and process improvements to data management systems, such as proactive data integrity management and integrating Foxtrot-build software with third-party platforms to improve ordering and data management

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with other teams to balance priorities while meeting necessary deadlines
• Experience with entry-level accounting preferred
• Experience in organizing and delivering complex projects on time
• Experience using Enterprise Resources Planning Platforms, Procurement Platforms, or Warehouse Management Systems strongly preferred
• Experience building dashboards and developing metrics is preferred
• Excellent data analysis skills; Experience with statistics, pivot tables, and spreadsheet functions (IF, VLOOKUP, and other logic statements) required
• Servant leadership mentality understands that the quality of their work impacts many others in the company and takes pride in getting it right
• General understanding of supply chain, merchandising, or retail operations required
• Able to do hybrid work, located in Chicago preferred, located in Chicago (IL), Dallas (TX), Austin (TX), or Washington DC area required
