Job Description

Supply Chain Analyst (Job Number: 2306322 )

Position Summary

This position coordinates all processes and functions of a department and provides visibility to management by tracking, process over-sight, auditing, researching and troubleshooting operational issues or functions.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and review cycle count corrections
  • Ensure timely disposition of obsolete parts
  • Ability to review at leadership level (i.e. monthly plant manager onsite) – person will be required to review monthly inventory metrics with the plant team
  • Maintain and update control audit documentation (MCRP)
  • Conduct monthly internal control’s meeting
  • Prepare meeting package and conduct cycle review meetings with team
  • Person would be responsible for DCP (AP13A)
  • Analyze premium data for trends and action items
  • Monitor Inventory 401 scorecard
  • Make CMMS inventory adjustments and updates
  • General understanding of plant operations
  • 1-4 years of Logistics experience
  • CMMS experience / familiarity is requested
  • Position would be a mix of onsite at the plant (meetings) and working remote

Qualifications:

  • Ability to learn and operate various inventory and transportation management systems, in addition to extension applications.
  • Ability to follows process and standard procedures
  • Ability to work independently and multi task required
  • 1 year of inventory/auditing/transportation experience preferred
  • Experience analyzing large sets of data preferred
  • Advanced computer skills including Excel and Outlook required
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel as necessary, work the hours necessary to accomplish the job duties, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
  • Ability to follow processes and procedures
  • Strong problem solving and time management skills required
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Data Analysis skills required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Fundamental understanding of transportation, supply chain and logistics
