Global Technology Risk Management (GTRM) is the team that is ultimately responsible for the securing of McDonald’s information assets at a global level!
The Vendor Relationship Management Supervisor is responsible for relationship management with assigned McDonald's portfolio of providers.
This Supervisor will work closely with McDonald’s teams to champion existing and establish new provider relationships to assist delivering Technology and other initiatives! This role will lead all aspects of the full supplier lifecycle from identifying, negotiating, on-boarding to handling provider’s performance via a structured governance process and collaboration with other members of the VMO, Global Technology, Delivery teams, Global Sourcing, Senior Management and Providers.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the engagement of key executives in the governance processes for Service Providers, including the facilitation of key decisions related to agreements
- Completes the VMO strategy on behalf of McDonald’s
- Drives the portfolio risk management program for providers to comply
- Accountable for the McDonald’s Global Technology services portfolio, ensuring consistent fields are established to supervise all service providers (segmentation of providers: Strategic, Major, Specialized, Commodity)
- Facilitate timely problem resolution of contractual issues to minimize impact of service disruptions to McDonald’s Global Technology and business partners
- Responsible for Enterprise Services, Risk Management, Security providers relationships, Back Office Applications, and Software as well as some non-technology providers.
- Serve as a subject matter authority to McDonald’s partners, corporate procurement and legal to acquire their assistance in contract-related activities
- Provide visibility on and interpretations of contractual obligations to McDonald’s personnel, including contract education and awareness
- Ensuring McDonald’s partners understand our contractual obligations and monitors our compliance to them
- Supervise performance of contracts against performance indicators to ensure all obligations under agreements are being met
Accountable for:
- Overall Governance for Providers including Business Reviews, Contract Renewals, Stakeholder Management & liaison between internal functions and Provider.
- Handles the contract benchmarking and renewal process, with appropriate engagement from partners
- Coordinate and direct relevant VMO projects as assigned
- Owns the development of the portfolio scorecard / provider view of performance (Executive, Functional, Operational reporting)
- Implement changes and/or additions to contract documents (such as SOWs)
- Implement contractual changes with key partners
- Validates invoices against contract cost and clauses to ascertain whether the set achievements have reached
- Builds McDonald's contractual obligations and oversees compliance to the obligations under the outsourcing agreements
- Alignment of processes with Global Workforce Solutions
- Track record of negotiations and overall relationship management
- Strong prioritization skills
- Experience with addressing stakeholders and management
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Technology related Provider Management with large scale providers and negotiation with provider on service and hardware
- Excellent facilitation and interpersonal skills; team-oriented, collaborative leadership skills and ability to lead colleagues informally
- Software Licensing experience, especially with Microsoft and Oracle, is preferred.
- Bachelors Degree IT or related field
- Adaptable and flexible whilst working in an innovative global virtual team
