Job Description

Responsibilities

In this role the primary areas of responsibility will be:

  • Carry out tasks in support of Supply Chain and performance related to Inventory Management and special projects.
  • Aligns team/department/function priorities, planning, and actions to the overall business goals.
  • Reporting the inventory levels, condition of the items and the movement of the items.
  • Warehousing organizing and controls implementation.
  • Define and monitor surplus materials to improve lean inventory.
  • Review non-moving materials for potential scrap or reuse.
  • Handle inventory rebalancing.
  • End-to-end involvement in logistics, including procurement, production, reverse logistics, i.e. returns, recalls, repair, repacking and recycling.
  • Share and communicate knowledge and innovation.
  • Delivering solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements.
  • Select and retain team-members / leaders.
  • Coach and develop functional expertise to team members and appraise and improve team performance.
  • Manages cross-functional projects to provide improvement in process metrics, set goals, prioritize and delegate tasks and achieve company goals.

Qualifications

For this position the right candidate can demonstrate:

  • BS degree in supply chain management, LEAN and 3 plus years of experience or 10 plus years of proven experience in supply chain
  • Expertise in SAP ERP 5.7 or above is required.
  • Proficient in standard data analytical tools such as Excel, Access, Power BI and PPT.
  • Experience from the wind power business or similar service business is not a prerequisite.
  • Solid team-oriented skills across cultures and disciplines.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
