About Our Client
Our client is looking for an organized Assistant Superintendent to monitor and maintain construction schedules and ensure that the project remains within budget. The Assistant Superintendent is also responsible for making sure that health and safety guidelines are followed on site. Apply within 48 hours to be considered!

• Hold start-up meetings with subcontractors to review scope of work, schedule, & safety requirements
• Schedule all trade & manpower activities for the efficient work flow
• Manage QA/QC program, including inspecting & approving the work product
• Assist in the preparation of RFIs, providing recommended solutions for consideration
• Prepare & distribute focus schedules
• Seek opportunities to enhance project efficiency
• Assist in the development of the Master Project Schedule
• Coordinate all required inspections (municipal, material, etc.)
• Manage efficient & timely project close-out including punch list completion, as-built review, attic stock demobilization, etc.
• Identify schedule slippage & provide a recovery plan
• Attend pre-bid meetings & walk-troughs, as required
• Support logistics planning
• Attend trade contractors scope review prior to trade award
• Prepare & distribute detailed Daily Construction Reports (DCSs)
• Enforce all OHSA safety rules
• Track long Lead items & material procurement
• Host Weekly subcontractor coordination meetings & provide detailed meetings
• Maintain current OSHA required certifications (30-hour, CPR, scaffold, etc)

The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate for this role:

• Easy going, self-motivated
• 3+ years of experience in Construction
• Strong management ability and willingness to learn
• Proficient in the entire Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, Project)
• Proven track record of effectively and efficiently managing job sites
