Job Purpose: ??Responsible for supporting the front desk operations of the Registrar's Office, including answering questions regarding university policies and procedures, processing student/faculty academic requests including registration actions, managing main office phone calls, and monitoring and responding to inquiries from students, faculty and staff through the Office of the Registrar inbox. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Exemplary technological skills required to include an adept in use of computer and software applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite. Data input skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner in meeting established deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service attitude with an ability to work in a team environment. Ability to work collaboratively with others while exhibiting consideration and respect to all team members.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability for attention to detail to ensure system coding accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people including students, faculty, staff, parents, and administration.
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal and written modes of delivery.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing workload to meet required deadlines and have an ability to work both independently.
  • Hold an ability to identify issues, compare data, and to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Supports office personnel in the multifaceted delivery of quality customer service.
  • Expected to function independently with minimal supervision and to rely on experience and to exercise good judgment.
Desired Qualifications
The functions are usually performed sitting, but may involve some amount of time standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, lifting, walking, carrying (maximum of 25 lbs.), and reaching while performing filing and other job-related duties.
