AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Structural Engineer for employment in Denver, CO. You’ll work in the AECOM Water Business Unit on various water/wastewater projects including, but not limited to building design and structural components for water infrastructure.
This position is expected to begin in July 2023.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare design drawings, plans, sections, and details.
  • Work under the supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member.
  • Ability to coordinate with other disciplines.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Prepare structural engineering related calculations for buildings and for hydraulic structures and develop drawings and visual aids.
  • Prepare specifications, cost estimates, reports, and schedules.

Qualifications


Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural engineering.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
  • Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing, and standard office software.
  • Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (CAD, REVIT, STAAD, RAM).
  • Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Capable of supporting multiple projects at a time and meeting project schedules.
  • Technical experience related to structural design codes.
