Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Structural Building Inspector. The Structural Building Inspector is responsible for inspecting all aspects of the construction process and verifying that structural designs and plans meet building and safety codes. Duties will include inspecting the foundation, framing, and overall structural support systems, assessing the integrity of infrastructures, and creating a detailed report of findings.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Building Inspector or Structural Inspector is preferred
• Experience in structural engineering, inspection or construction
• Knowledge of local and state building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with contractors, architects, and clients
