Ready to learn and get hands-on-experience? Jane is looking for a Strategy & Business Operations Intern to join our team for 12 weeks, beginning on May 15th, 2023. This person will work closely with the Business Operations team and assist them with various tasks and projects. If you’re currently a masters or bachelors student looking to learn more about strategy, business operations and analytics in a digital marketplace environment, and eager to learn from a growing eCommerce company, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities

  • Create compelling presentations and other documents supported by strong qualitative and quantitative storytelling
  • Identify, develop and evaluate new business opportunities and growth strategies
  • Produce and update project status reports and maintain related documentation
  • Prepare presentations and other materials to support business operations activities
  • Working directly with the analytics team, analyze data sets to create actionable insights for the executive team
  • Perform various analyses by leveraging resources and insights gathered from a broad range of functional experts and data sources, including analytics, marketing, research, etc.
  • Support the planning and development of materials for the annual strategic planning process including market research, competitor analysis and presentation design
  • Measure, analyze and report on the performance of key performance indicators and company OKRs
  • At the conclusion of the internship, complete a Capstone project to be presented to the senior leadership team

Qualifications

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in Microsoft Suite
  • Desire to support and work with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience using Looker Data Visualization considered an asset
  • MBA or a student currently pursuing a MBA preferred but not required
  • Self-starters who are results oriented and intellectually curious
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate collaborative interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully within a team
  • Bachelor’s degree or a student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
