Strategic Sourcing Manager
Main Responsibilities:
This role will have the responsibility for leading global sourcing projects across 18+ markets, making recommendations for vendor selection and process re-engineering to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
This individual will be responsible for developing strong business partnerships to collaborate on strategy across the business while driving category, supplier, and sourcing strategies to maximize value. The goal will be to optimize approved suppliers and reduce overall cost. This person will provide management of the overall supplier relationships including negotiating pricing and contract terms as well as supplier performance and compliance.
They will act as a trusted business partner, collaborating with management and other subject matter experts to develop category strategies, alternative solutions when necessary, advising on risks, total cost of ownership, and business impacts. This individual will also own the P2P system (ZIP) which is in the process of being deployed. We are seeking someone who can roll up their sleeves and build out the sourcing team.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Finance, or related fields.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams - including, but not limited to, Security, Privacy, Legal, IT and FP&A to provide end-to-end support to the business.
  • Experience drafting necessary language to translate business needs into specific requirements for contract-related documents, e.g., master services agreements (MSAs), statements of work (SOW), requests for proposals (RFPs), etc.
  • Project management experience in a complex multi-project and multi- geography environment.
  • Knowledge and experience managing and implementing DEI (diversity equity and inclusion) and ESG (environmental social and governance) sourcing initiatives.
  • Experience in software and/or SaaS companies a plus. NetSuite and Concur experience ideal.
  • Outstanding coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Contract experience must include SaaS, consulting, professional services, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, IT and event/hotel agreements.
  • Experience leading global sourcing responsibilities, including opportunity analysis and identification, supplier selection, compliance, and risk evaluation.
  • Experience managing 2+ direct reports within a dynamic cross functional organization.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing/procurement with a minimum 2 years of people management experience.
  • Ability to work independently with strong teamwork, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop strategic sourcing strategies in alignment with business initiatives.

Compensation Range
$121,000 - $161,000 - $201,000
The base salary range for this role at minimum, midpoint and maximum is shown above. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired close to or at the maximum of the salary range. At Sprinklr, base pay depends on multiple individualized factors, including experience, qualifications, job-related knowledge and skills, and geographic location. Base pay also depends on the relative experience, knowledge, skills to our internal peers in the role. Base pay is only one part of our competitive Total Rewards package: the successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Sprinklr’s discretionary bonus plan, commission plan and/or equity plan, depending on role.
US-based Sprinklr employees are eligible for a highly competitive benefits package as well, which demonstrates our commitment to our employees’ health, well-being, and financial protection.
