Strategic Sourcing Manager Jobs

As the Strategic Sourcing Manager, this role will handle all aspects of the strategic sourcing lifestyle with both our internal and external partners. The Sourcing Manager will collaborate to bring new products to life for customers and support new and existing product lines, optimize supplier matrix, & help achieve company financial goals. Using negotiation and critical thinking skills will be key in this role to deliver value to the customer while making bottom-line value.

Essential Job Functions:

• Lead the development and implementation of supplier relationships, supplier & commodity strategy, spend & supply assessments, consolidation strategy, sourcing selection, and financial & sourcing analyses.
• Negotiate complex agreements with global suppliers, taking quality, timeliness of delivery, pricing, terms, tooling costs, service, and possible protection of IP into consideration.
• Develop category sourcing plans, identify potential suppliers, requirements documentation, RFI & RFQs, bid & price analysis, negotiation & contract award, and supplier performance management all while using VA/VE strategies.
• Develop and maintain a strategic supplier matrix.
• Manage overall spend across assigned commodity categories.
• Provide leadership for new product launches.

Position Requirements:

• Background in manufacturing, plastics, metal fabrication or automotive
• Demonstrated track record of RFP development, sourcing processes, strategies execution, project management, and transition plans.
• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, supply chain, or engineering
• Demonstrated leadership skills with 5+ years Sourcing/Supply Chain experience
• Strong negotiation, supplier management and strategic supplier matrix experience.
