Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for smooth and efficient operation of assigned areas, including but not limited to; front desk, shipping/receiving, housekeeping, maintenance, etc.


  • Maintain a fashionable & daily styled, personable appearance and friendly demeanor.
  • Ensure consistent communication/partnership with designated online fulfillment associate.
  • Participate in opening and closing of the store as key holder.
  • Additional responsibilities may be added as the needs of the business evolve.
  • Follow loss prevention procedures and maintenance of alarm equipment. Make recommendations for process improvement.
  • Have a presence on the sales floor when needed.
  • Manage mark-out-of-stock process, reviewing damaged merchandise for potential repair or dry clean options, adhere to internal processes/procedures.
  • Partner with the HR Director to ensure all performance/employee relations concerns are addressed/resolved in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with buying team regarding merchandise receipts, transfers, RTV’s, markdown cadences.
  • Partner with Store Sales Director to ensure consistency of operational functions such as go-backs, replenishment, look-ups, transfers, markdowns, charge sends, etc.
  • Create and take accountability in supporting a positive work environment that increases productivity.
  • Serve as liaison and point of contact for Farfetch & Tootsies.com.
  • Responsible for directly managing associates in assigned departments including hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, and terminating.
  • Serve as operations department liaison for store level HR functions including, but not limited, new hire on-boarding, PTO requests/approvals, schedule input, timekeeping, etc.
  • Maintain a master “Who to Call” list for store required maintenance & repairs including internal company department contacts.
  • Prepare and administer performance reviews for direct reports.
  • Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service during entire visit; customers have positive memorable experience during each visit.
  • Daily tracking of American Express charge receipts. Ensure timely monthly reconciliation reporting to Accounting.
  • Resolve customer service issues swiftly and to the highest service level.
  • Develop non-selling schedule to meet store needs, control overtime and maximize productivity.
  • Train store employees on store & loss prevention policies and procedures. Make recommendations for updated policies and procedures.
  • Order all supplies timely and monitor controls over operating supplies (i.e., bags, boxes, gift wrap, hangers, cleaning supplies, etc.)
  • Responsible for on-approval process and reconciliation.
  • Process, track and reconcile gift card transactions adhering to company policies & procedure.
  • Coordinate and manage physical inventory. Work with Controller to successfully manage inventory and control shrinkage.


Qualifications:

  • Ability to direct, coach and resolve customer service issues, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience in retail sales and management.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exhibits a strong sense of professionalism, courtesy, and friendly demeanor.
  • Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule for a retail business, including nights, weekends, holidays, store events, etc.
  • High level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Possess strong leadership, coaching, training, and development skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.

  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, ability to move/carry product.
  • Use of hands and fingers to handle or feel.
