Job Description
The Normal Brand is a fast-growing apparel company that sells clothing and accessories online, in over 500 stores, and 6 brand stores. TNB is aggressively scaling our brick-and-mortar footprint. We are looking for a team player to execute on timelines, manage multiple parties, and maintain the highest quality in building out our stores.
Responsibilities
  • Is responsible for creating, managing, and executing a timeline for new retail store openings from before a store lease is signed to the grand opening party.
  • Maintain consistent follow up with all team members and vendors to ensure target timeline is achieved.
  • Monitor construction activities in conjunction with the Construction Manager to ensure project is being built on schedule, and within budget.
  • Initiate meetings with relevant team members and regularly communicate updates to all team members through meeting recaps and goal/timeline setting
  • Willing and able to step up in the moment and get new stores open quickly
  • Effectively communicate deadlines to team members, and quickly reply to and hold team members to their deadlines.
  • Multitask multiple store openings at once
  • Maintain accurate project list/job status sheet for all projects with proactive management.
  • Manage deliveries of fixtures/supplies and arrange for an individual to be present at the delivery location to accept deliveries as needed.
  • Help with DTC operations including sending out replenishment orders to the stores and customer service when needed.
  • Track and manage the target budget and be creative in ways to save on cost while maintaining high quality.
  • Use critical thinking to create and execute on processes for efficiency while maintaining TNB standards of excellence.
  • Help source materials, supplies, and vendors in order to build out stores in a cost-efficient manner.
  • Establish and refine project objectives, procedures and standards for new store openings.
  • Manage all parties involved, including but not limited to contractors, designers, painters, vendors, landlord, and other TNB team members.
  • Assist store manager with initial merchandise order, on-site product inventory check-in, and merchandising for store opening.
  • Travel on-site to retail spaces as needed, including but not limited to location scouting, utility setup, progress check-ins, collaboration with construction team, etc. Ensure all necessary permits and inspections are completed as needed for each state and/or municipality prior to store opening.
