Job Description
The Normal Brand is a fast-growing apparel company that sells clothing and accessories online and in over 500 stores in the US. We're opening a new retail brick-and-mortar store in St. Louis and we need a hard working, personable, goal-oriented Store Manager. Each store is a unique experience where a clean, high energy, and fun environment is of utmost importance. Thinking independently and outside the box is essential.


Responsibilities


  • Mentor, develop team through clear communication
  • Responsible for securing store
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate specific replenishment needs to HQ
  • Inspire, develop, and lead team to drive and excellent customer experience and revenue
  • Create, maintain relationships with our guests
  • Implement high customer service standards throughout the store and team
  • Encourage suggestive selling to maximize revenue
  • Maintain a clean store and merchandise to Normal standards
  • Embrace an environment that is respectful in communication
  • Make a schedule that is adequately and efficiently staffed to business needs
  • Gives constructive feedback to District Manager on all aspects of the business
  • “Our goal is to make peoples’ day better, sell clothes, and have FUN!”
  • Educate and train team on product knowledge
  • Manage revenue, and payroll
  • Participate in weekly calls with peers and District Manager


Requirements


  • Time management and merchandising abilities
  • Independent, goal oriented, data driven, competitive, and positive energy
  • Proficient communication skills with HQ and store team- verbal and written
  • Flexible availability, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Self-starter
  • Eager to learn through feedback and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • 5+ years retail apparel management experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Drive
  • Change agent
  • People person - approachable, friendly
  • Inventory integrity
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes
