:

As the Storage Engineer, you will design, architect, configure, deploy, upgrade and support various storage and backup platforms and associated management tools; diagnose and troubleshoot storage systems and other related technologies; and adhere to engineering and architecture standards and participate in technical review meetings as required.

  • Oversee the updates to hardware, operating systems, and software as needed to provide required functionality and security
  • Ensure systems are monitored and statistics relevant to capacity, performance, utilization, etc. are collected and regularly reviewed
  • Oversee the Installation of new storage hardware and software according to standard operating procedures
  • Create and maintain documentation: logical/physical diagrams, run books and other technical engineering documents
  • Participate in the evaluation, deployment, management, and integration of new technologies in alignment with other engineers, architects, and technical service lanes
  • Incident support and participation in on-call rotation during off hours and weekends
  • Consistently demonstrate initiative and commitment to optimizing systems and processes
