Summary
Join us for an incredible opportunity to be a part of our Stewarding Team as a Steward/Dishwasher! The Steward/Dishwasher will support “A Seattle Collection”, a multi-property cluster comprised of Grand Hyatt Seattle, Hyatt at Olive 8 and Hyatt Regency Seattle.
A Steward or Dishwasher is primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all hotel china, silverware, and cookware. This person must have good communication skills and have the ability to lift, pull and push a moderate amount of weight. This is a fast paced position that will involve constant customer interaction.
The hourly rate for this position is $23.00. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who remain in the position for four years, which is $23.46. This position may also have a lead role, based on experienced, at $24.00/hour. For those colleagues who have remained as a lead steward, the established rate is $24.48/hour.

Qualifications
- Food handler's permit required
- Previous stewarding experience preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 50 pounds)
- Refined verbal communication skills
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
