Sterile Equipment Transport Tech I

Position Highlights:

The Sterile Transport Equipment Technician oversees the transportation and handling of scopes and instruments between the Sterile Process Department and the Ambulatory Clinics at the Magnolia Campus.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Fundamental computer skills
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology/technology
• Demonstrated communication, organization and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities:

• Maintain personal professional development.
• Monitor adherence to established Infection Prevention guidelines and quality control measures.
• Ensures the timely transport of clean and soiled instruments and scopes.

Credentials and Qualifications:

• Knowledge of medical terminology/technology
• Basic familiarity with nursing procedures
• Fundamental computer skills
• High School Diploma/GED
