The Sterile Processing Tech I Trainee is responsible for the following duties:

• Decontaminate, clean, assemble, package, sterilize, and distribute medical instruments and supplies.
• Follow all safety protocols for decontamination, cleaning, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and distribution of medical instruments and supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of all sterilization processes.
• Monitor and inspect all medical instruments and supplies for any damage or defects.
• Ensure that all medical instruments and supplies are properly stored and labeled.
• Assist with the maintenance and repair of medical instruments and supplies.
• Assist with the training of new Sterile Processing Techs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
