ICANotes of Annapolis, MD is seeking an experienced Staff Full-Stack Developer to lead a small team of Software Development Engineers in designing, developing and implementing enterprise applications using full-stack open-source technologies. Responsibilities


  • Participate in code reviews
  • Lead a small team of developers in the design, development, and deployment of a scalable application running on AWS.
  • Code software solutions, construct unit tests, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to manage and implement change in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience working with a startup or enjoy working in a startup like environment with ambiguity and speed.
  • Provide design and implementation expertise to a cross-functional software development team.
  • Mentor entry and mid-level developers and assist them in resolving issues.
  • Is a multitasker with the ability to work efficiently and effectively within deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Architect to ensure alignment with the overall technical vision and to incorporate best practices and standards into the development process.
  • Evaluate new coding techniques, tools, modules, and implementations as appropriate.
  • Support testing and remediate defects.


Qualifications


  • Experience with Docker and a basic understanding of micro-services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to investigate and analyze information/problems and to draw conclusions.
  • Proficient in front-end development with Angular/React.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SQL server databases.
  • Proficient in node.js with express or other scripting languages and HTTP-related servers.
  • At least 9 years of experience working as a Full-Stack Developer.
  • Experience with a cloud provider: AWS, Azure, etc.
  • Experience with MySQL, Postgres, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, and SAAS.
  • Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Computer Science or related is preferred.


Preferred Skills


  • Healthcare experience specifically in medical billing.
  • Experience with NestJS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
