Job Description
Elwood Staffing is hiring for a temporary Staff Cook at a local hospice center in Loveland, CO.

Staff Cook Details
  • Prepare small meals for patients
  • Maintain kitchen inventory
  • Some meals are small comfort food dishes and some are large grand meals for the holidays
  • Weekend work required
  • $ 18.00 / hour
  • First Shift ( Wednesday through Saturday from 06:00am to 06:00pm )
  • Full Time work available
  • Temporary position
  • Keep kitchen area clean and sanitary
Staff Cook Qualifications
  • A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed. You will be required to complete and submit a questionnaire. We will consider your age at the time of the offense, when the offense occurred, the seriousness and the nature of the offense, as well as any rehabilitation to determine your employability.
  • Must be able to work 12 hour shifts
  • Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
  • Understanding of kitchen and food storage expectations and guidelines
  • Must be able to work weekends and overtime
  • Previous professional cooking experience
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
