Staff Accountant Jobs

Korn Ferry has partnered with our client in their search for a Staff Accountant. This position will report to the corporate accounting team and assist with the daily transactional accounting activities. This is a great opportunity to work with a thriving company that is expected to double in size in the next few years.

Scope of Responsibilities.

• Assist in timely preparation of financial statements to ensure deadlines are met
• Intercompany invoicing
• Ensure valid payment instructions are accurate for weekly vendor payments
• Assist in preparation of annual audit working papers
• Reconcile bank accounts and cash forecasting entries
• Calculate and post recurring monthly entries
• Ensure proper approvals are obtained
• Review all invoices and expense reimbursements
• Post client invoicing and ensure that billing & collections are timely addressed

Skills Needed:

• Experience in ERP, Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
• Organized, good communicator, able to meet deadlines
• Works well under pressure, able to meet deadlines
• Understanding of fundamental financial principles, US GAAP and IFRS

Educational & Work Requirements:

• Degree: Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
• Work Experience: 3+ years of general accounting/bookkeeping experience
