Staff Accountant - Accounting Degree Required

Our client, an international manufacturer, seeks an Accounting Degreed grad that graduated in May or within the past year to join their Controller training program. The company hires new graduates into ground floor accounting roles and then grooms the candidate through a series of accounting and finance roles designed to train the individual to eventually become a division Controller OR move into Corporate Accounting/Finance roles. This is a unique opportunity to learn all facets of accounting through a rotation of progressive roles beginning in Payroll and progressing through A/P, A/R, Cost Accounting, G/L, G/L Management, Budgeting, and eventually Controllership.

To be considered for this position, we are looking for the following:

• Bachelor in Business - Accounting degree required; If a Finance Degree, must have at least 20 hours of Accounting Credits including Audit and Cost Accounting classes without exception
• Strong MS Excel Skills including Pivot Tables, LookUps
• Other awesome attributes that will catch our eye: Your outgoing personality, desire to grow, and willingness to invest the time to develop core skills
• Proven work ethic and demonstrated leadership - This could consist of internships, part-time jobs while in college, participation in team sports, and/or leadership roles in organizations
• Some assistance with relocation could be available for this position
• US Citizen or Perm Resident
• Communication Skills are key in this organization!
• May 2023 or Recent Grad - Because this is an Entry Level position in this organization, 0-2 years of experience is ideal!
