Staff Accountant Jobs

The BK Staff Accountant position is responsible for providing management with financial assistance by preparing, analyzing, administering, and reporting on a variety of financial areas as directed by the BK Controller. Experience is helpful but not required, as all duties can/will be taught. Great opportunity to build real-world accounting skills while working for a publicly traded company.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the department heads to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial reporting activity
• Assist with annual budgeting process
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
• Coordinate requests from internal and external auditors
• Assist in preparation and distribution of financial statements

Qualifications

• 0 - 2 years' experience in accounting (entry-level is ok)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an applicable field of study
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, sumifs, pivot tables, etc.)
