Responsibilities:

Arcfield is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. To be successful in this role, the Staff Accountant should possess the ability to conduct a wide array of accounting duties and projects.


Major Responsibilities/Activities Statements:

  • Perform daily cash application
  • Review and analyze current processes for potential improvements
  • Perform weekly bank reconciliations
  • Comply with and enforce all legal Company policies, procedures and instructions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support various financial projects
  • Update and develop process documentation for assigned tasks
  • Support the accounting team with other tasks and duties as assigned
  • Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors
  • Work with A/R, A/P, and other departments as needed to resolve issues
  • Reconcile P-Card transactions on a monthly basis

Educational and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field experience and 0-2 years of experience, prefer at least 1 year of experience.
Required Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage priorities and adapt to change in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Exceptional work ethic and commitment to organizational success
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products with strong knowledge of Excel
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and operational accounting
  • The ability to produce timely, high-quality work
  • Organized, reliable, and personable
