Staff Accountant (109956) Jobs

Our client, a financial banking institution with a 100+ year history, is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their growing office in the suburbs of Chicago! The team is looking for a Staff Accountant that can grow long term into a senior/manager role, and will play a critical role in the future growth of the team. This position offers a competitive base salary of up to $70,000and competitive benefits, including up to 30 days PTO! This role will be onsite.
Staff Accountant Responsibilities

• Ad-hoc reporting/requests as needed
• Assist with their internal and external audits by providing any needed information
• Prepare and post journal entries to the GL
• Assist management team with any process improvements, etc.
• Perform weekly and monthly reconciliations for GL and cash accountants

Staff Accountant Requirements

• 1+ years of accounting experience OR internship experience
• Strong communication, leadership skills, go-getter
• Bachelor’s degree in business/accounting
• Strong Excel skills
