Description

Job Summary:

The Senior Treasury Analyst will assist the Corporate Treasurer with the improvement and implementation of multiple hedging programs, as well as tracking performance of the hedging programs and the Company’s domestic and international investment programs. This position will work closely with the finance function and procurement teams to improve the timely reporting of foreign exchange and commodities exposures. They will also evaluate the domestic and international investment options to enhance the yield on the company’s assets. This position will also lead the creation of new Treasury reporting to enhance the visibility of the Treasury department within the organization. The Senior Treasury Analyst will also support ad hoc projects as the Treasury department and Company continue to grow.

Essential Job Functions:

Foreign Exchange and Commodities

  • Create counterparty exposure reports across derivative and investment exposures
  • Stage and execute foreign exchange and commodity spot trades and hedges as needed
  • Assess the company’s exposure to foreign currencies and commodities, including correlation between various risks to determine total risk to the Company
  • Assist implementing new hedging programs, including cash flow and net investment hedging
  • Prepare reports to update the Company’s leadership team on foreign exchange and commodities markets expectations and the impact on the business
  • Monitor compliance with hedging policies
  • Manage collateral call/return process and initiate daily collateral process
  • Verify hedge settlement amounts on maturing contracts, coordinate settlement and ensure proper financial results
  • Conduct impact analysis of foreign exchange risk and hedging program results
  • Develop strategies to manage foreign currency and commodities price risks

Investments

  • Facilitate execution of new investment strategies as needed
  • Prepare recommendations for senior management on potential investments
  • Monitor compliance with investment policies and recommend changes to these policies
  • Analyze proposed investments for domestic and international cash

Reporting

  • Validate actual results and conduct variance analysis as needed
  • Create and regularly update periodic reporting for review by the Company’s leadership team
  • Manage forecasting of financial results of Treasury activities

Position Requirements:

  • Able to manage multiple priorities
  • Bloomberg terminal experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Data visualization or coding experience a plus
  • Proficiency using Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
  • Experience in any combination of Foreign Exchange, Commodities, or Investments
  • 1-2 years of treasury experience in multi-national business environment
  • Able to work independently while being a team player
  • SAP experience preferred
  • 3+ years of total finance experience

PAY RANGE: $78k - $85k
