Job Description
What to Expect
As part of the Workplace team, the Transportation Program Manager will develop, manage, market, provide strategic direction, and oversight of Gigafactory Nevada shuttle and parking programs. The Transportation Manager will join the dynamic Workplace team and support environmental sustainability initiatives by expanding the alternate mode use through outreach, education, and continued growth of transportation programs.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead superb internal customer relations regarding program questions and feedback; oversee customer service and issue resolution, root case analysis, and corrective actions plans
  • Develop vendor performance metrics and analysis
  • Oversee portfolio of employee shuttle and parking programs
  • Work with internal/external teams to conduct creative employee engagement events and campaigns to highlight shuttle programs, and motivate participation
  • Interface with internal stakeholders to understand, develop, and align goals
  • Develop and manage budgets and cost management; oversee payment of vendors
  • Perform strategic analysis to improve and optimize overall system efficiency
  • Oversee or support contract and pricing negotiation, analysis, and compliance
  • Innovate new approaches for increasing participation in commuter programs through communications messaging and incentive systems
  • Perform strategic analysis to improve and optimize overall parking system efficiency
  • Evaluate new vendor services as needed for improving service offerings, delivery excellence, and cost effectiveness
  • Oversee portfolio of onsite and off-site parking lots, structures, and facilitiesInnovate approaches for decreasing parking demand
  • Implement processes for gathering participation data and analyze/report data fordecision making
  • Interface with external stakeholders, e.g., agencies, local governments, transportationmanagement associations, etc., on regulatory compliance and policy development
  • Recommend and support development of internal parking policies, procedures, and programs
  • Recommend and support development of internal transportation policies, procedures,and programs
  • Manage vendors, facilitates staff and service providers as required to ensure excellent service delivery and cost efficiency
  • Oversee communication of system and service changes to all stakeholders through communication channels, including basic graphics layout, e.g., email, newsletter, intranet/app, signage
What You’ll Bring
  • Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service andengagement of multiple stakeholders to lead cross functional projects
  • Advanced computer skills, e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, basic Web page management,internal software tools, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong strategic thinker with leadership skills
  • Project management experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in parking and or shuttle program management or related corporate employee services program
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Knowledge of the regional transportation network, agencies and policies and prior experience in transportation planning
