8:00 AM - 4:00 PMThe Senior Supervisor of Instructional Services works across Career and Technical Education and Exceptional Education to ensure the cohesive facilitation of staff professional development, curriculum and assessment along with associated areas of technology and a host of district initiatives. The Senior Supervisor shall oversee all Coordinators, Specialists and their work in the department to ensure compliance in accordance with E1B standards as well as Federal, State and local laws and guidelines. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Assistant Superintendent.Specific Duties:

• Acts as DDC/CIO on behalf of E1B and oversees affiliated reporting.
• Direct oversight of all aspects of E1B District Required Professional Development Plan including: organizing, implementing and preparation of submittals in Frontline and securing developers to provide PD.
• Direct support and supervision of E1B technology services as it relates to instruction including development of the E1B Technology Plan including.
• Participates in WNY BOCES - Teach to Lead Initiative.
• Direct oversight and organization of the Summer Leadership Series.
• Other duties as assigned.Job QualificationsMust hold valid New York State Administrative Certification in School District Leader (SDL) or equivalentPrevious building and/or district leadership experienceUnderstanding of New York State and national K-12 learning standards and best practicesExperience developing and implementing ongoing professional development for teachers, therapists, paraprofessionals, and school/district leadersExperience with New York State Annual Professional Performance Review (APPR) regulations and NYS state assessments. • Participates in leadership organizations, associations, initiatives, and committees as requested such as ACTEA, IDAB, Onboarding, IDEA, and SMART.
• Direct oversight of implementation of E1B’s APPR plan and student assessment including program data analysis as mandated by the state and federal requirements related to teacher, principal evaluations and program approvals.
• Direct oversight of all aspects of E1B Professional Development Plan including: organizing, implementing and preparation of submittals.
• Direct oversight and facilitation of E1B Curriculum Council.
• Works with Instructional Services staff on district and division specific initiatives such as technology, literacy, e-portfolios, certifications, pathways.
• Direct oversight of New Teacher Focus Groups.
• Direct oversight and acting Board member of the WNY Teacher Center.
• Direct oversight of all aspects of Staff Development Days including: coordination, planning, implementation, budget and accountability in collaboration with Coordinators and building administration.
• Direct oversight of all aspects of New Teacher Orientation and E1B Mentor/Intern program including: organizing, implementing and preparation of mentors and intern trainings, assignments with approval by M/I committee.
