CornerStone Technology Talent Service is seeking a highly skilled Senior SQL Server Engineer to join our team. This position offers a hybrid work schedule with a combination of remote work and in-office work in Irving, Texas. We are unable to provide sponsorship, so we are looking for candidates who are either US citizens or green card holders. Local candidates from the DFW area who can start within the next two to three weeks are preferred.

Skills/Experience Required:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in database development and support in MS SQL Server environments

- Proficiency in SQL Development, including the ability to write and troubleshoot SQL code and design (stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints)

- Experience in Database Design and Modeling

- Strong SQL support skills, with the ability to debug, tune, and optimize SQL code

- Familiarity with coding algorithms using packages, procedures, and functions in SQL

- Experience in Performance Tuning and Query Optimization using tools like Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler, and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools

- Experience in utilizing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the team and stakeholders to design and develop database schema, tables, and dictionaries

- Write and optimize SQL statements within applications

- Perform query tuning and writing to enhance database performance

- Prepare documentation and specifications related to database development and optimization

- Profile server resource usage, optimize, and tweak as necessary

- Work closely with the application development team to architect table and database structures

- Develop high-quality database solutions

- Design, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL

- Create procedures and scripts for efficient data migration
