We are looking for a Sr. Social Media Specialist.

We are searching for a Senior Social Media Specialist to join our onsite developer-facing social media team that is responsible for managing 40+ social channels that reach millions of developers worldwide.

As a Senior Social Media Specialist, you will craft social media posts that help audiences see the benefits of our client’s technology come to life. You will play a critical role in shaping our social accounts’ voice and tone and driving audience engagement.

Our Social Media Specialists are excellent writers with expertise in social media best practices. They develop original and innovative content that aligns with the brand's voice, tone, and objectives. They draft copy that is technically accurate, consistently error free, and engaging. They know how to optimize assets for social media. Our Specialists are open to feedback and eager to incorporate suggestions and ideas from colleagues and clients to improve the quality of their work. They support our diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, including our efforts to reach and engage underserved developer communities on social media.

This is a remote temporary full-time position in the US (40 hr/ week) through December 29th.

Job Responsibilities:

• Research industry trends to help drive creative offerings
• Resize and optimize assets to social channel specifications
• Advance DEI initiatives, including efforts to reach underserved developer communities
• Use data to identify content gaps, opportunities, and ideas
• Craft social posts that meet product area objectives and deliver on key KPIs
• Produce social media posts for multiple channels, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and more, while applying best practices
• Support social efforts at events through community management, copywriting, asset creation, and more
• Create GIFs or short clips for social from video assets to increase engagement
• Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to optimize content and increase brand visibility
• Write clear, accurate, on-brand, and engaging social copy
• Work with senior social media staff to deliver social content that engages our target audience and grows our accounts

Qualifications & Experience:

• Comfortable writing copy for an audience of millions
• In-depth knowledge of popular social media platforms, their features, and best practices for content optimization
• Ability to work independently and proactively to solve complex problems that involve multiple stakeholders
• Attention to detail. Meticulous in reviewing and proofreading copy to ensure accuracy and consistency 100% of the time
• 4 years’ professional experience writing for social media platforms
• A desire to engage with the developer ecosystem and learn about new product areas and technologies
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
• Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
• Experience using GSuite
• Ability to generate fresh and innovative ideas while adhering to brand guidelines

Bonus Experience:

• Experience with social management and analytics tools, like Sprinklr and Later
• Desire to work on a creative, collaborative and data-driven team
• Understands software technologies and web development
• Obsessed with social platforms and digital storytelling
• HTML/CSS experience is a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000
