JOB MISSION:


As a Global Digital Operations Sr. Project Manager, you will act as a critical member of the Digital Operations team within the GTM Operations function. You will partner across the organization to drive and operationalize strategic key initiatives and process operations aligned with our brand digital transformation roadmap. This work includes the onboarding of new tools and capabilities, optimizing processes and operationalizing new ways of working. You will work partner closely across the organization with IT, Business Ops and Change Management, Design, Development, Product, Supply Chain, Marketing, Merchandising, Data and Digital Ops teams to support strategic and operational objectives, create transparency and alignment that enable and grow strong partnerships to successfully drives execution of project work and roadmap momentum across projects and time. This role requires exceptional project management and collaborative skills and techniques to drive the creation and management of clear project objectives, project plans, deliverables with clear ownership and risk mitigation. You will partner closely with Head of Global Digital Operations to provide transparency of project status, brainstorm and collaborate on new operational opportunity that will drive and support a reimagined model for the digital and physical creation to consumer go-to-market flow through the lens of a digitally fluid future state.


MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Participate and support GTM Operations Team priorities through collaboration and partner to plan and operationalize work from project to standards or pilots
  • Support the development of project scope and objectives, drive project execution and monitor and report project progress, objectives, timeframe, scope, quality, costs and ROI. Track and communicate risks appropriately
  • Proactively identify potential friction points and opportunities for resolution. Partner with appropriate parties to initiate alignment and/or action
  • Project Management leadership, global collaboration & oversight for Global Digital Operations key initiatives and projects
  • Work collaboratively across global organizations


REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:


  • Complex project and change management skills required. Organizational skills essential. High emotional IQ a plus
  • 7+ years relevant work experience, leading strategic projects; footwear and/or apparel industry experience in operations, creation, innovation, or supply chain a strong plus
  • Excellent brainstorming, analytical and problem-solving skills. Passion for driving change, problem solving and collaborative work a plus
  • Proven ability to lead teams, and effectively communicate and influence business partners
  • Advanced understanding of project planning/management scheduling tools as well as MS Office Suite including MS Teams, Excel, Visio, PPT, Word & PPT
  • Ability to communicate information in multiple modes and settings to effect change by influencing and persuading people across all levels of organization to align, make decisions or/or take action
  • Project Management Institute, Project Management Professional, Agile and/or Six Sigma certification a plus

Flexible Work Schedule

New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
