What you will be doing
Supply Chain Warehouse Replenishment technology team is looking for a product owner. You will own the product strategy, define product features and its priority, and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product. You will be the main interface with our customers within the Supply Chain Procurement line of business This is a dynamic role for someone who is a strategic thinker and can turn planning into great product experiences.
The position will be based in Pleasanton, California, Plano, Texas or Boise, Idaho.
Main responsibilities
- Evaluate vendor products/solutions to determine if they meet business and technical needs.
- Work with support and technical teams to identify operational and non-functional requirements Oversee product administration, grooming, priority, translation to technical/design specifications and lifecycle management of all applications within product line. Final authority on product requirements.
- Create and maintain the product roadmap, strategy, inclusive of cost, investment, and overall benefit realization that is in-line with business long-term goals and objectives.
- Lead the transformation of warehouse procurement systems at Albertsons from legacy to next generation cloud hosted technology solutions.
- Conduct product training and contribute to end user training materials and procedures.
- Work with Product marketing to drive awareness and adoption of the Product.
- Continuously improve product offerings and launch product features through a deep understanding of Procurement business needs.
- Provide strategic leadership to the team by creating the overall strategic vision for the product by prioritizing and focusing on the highest value opportunities; Deliver business impact through a variety of metrics, including product adoption, expansion conversion and usage.
- Identify market need, interfacing with internal and external customers to define the scope; Oversee competitive research and technology assessments.
- Ensure proper test coverage. Oversee the planning and execution of User Acceptance Testing
- Analyze business processes, fit-gap analysis, in-efficiencies, and risks to determine appropriate process and system design by working with product analysts as needed.
The salary range is $133,600 to $187,060 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.
