Sr. Oracle Database Administrator

Job Duties: Utilizing independent judgment, install, configure, administer and manage moderately complex databases; gather user needs and requirements; implement HA, disaster recovery, cloning and database security; coordinate development of logical and physical database structures; perform replication; perform migration between platforms and database upgrades; maintain large environments; create database objects and analyze objects to collect statistics and tune system performance; troubleshoot database errors; install, configure, and maintain Oracle in large environments; design and implement backup and recovery and schedule OEM reports for backup summary; write complex shell scripts for various batch jobs and maintenance tasks; deploy PL/SQL code to production environment; deploy data fixes and code changes to production environment and troubleshoot errors; tune system performance; tune complex ETL, application and batch queries; create users, monitor roles and grant/revoke privileges; and accomplish above tasks utilizing the following tools: UNIX, Sun Solaris, Windows, Linux, Oracle, Access, RAC, SQL*Loader, Goldengate, Data Guard, Datapump, RMAN, OEM, AWR, ADDM, TKPROF, TOAD, Grid Control, SQL, PL/SQL, C#, VB, UNIX Shell Scripting, and related tools.

Job Location: Multiple undetermined worksites throughout the U.S.

Minimum Qualification:
Education: Master degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology or Computer Engineering;
Other Requirements: Must be willing to travel and relocate.
