Sr OEM Equipment Sales Representative

Your Impact!
This role handles a geographic region in CA, OR & WA and will grow our business through inbound/outbound sales, accomplished by actively seeking prospect and lead opportunities, establishing strong customer relationships, building customer solutions and crafting long term OEM relationships with our customers. Purview includes the Temperature Control, Cold Storage and related equipment that serve scientific, industrial and health care applications.
A Day in the Life

  • Hunt for and develop new OEM and Key Account opportunities
  • Understand and communicate the value we provide as an organization.
  • Develop an adaptable territory business plan that flexes to changing conditions in key industries and markets
  • Track activity and customer progress for leads and opportunities with Salesforce.com
  • Conduct technical/consultative at customer sites
  • Generate and provide pricing and proposals based on opportunity value and selling conditions
  • Work with customers to provide technical guidance throughout product selection
  • Collaborate with and leverage internal and external sales, technical and service partners to build opportunity pipeline and close sales.
  • Apply outstanding time management by prioritizing daily activities to meet goals and timelines

How will you get here?
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; equivalent experience in science / technical field may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience

  • Proven success in developing/prospecting new business.
  • Strong Telephone / Email / Video Conferencing skills
  • Ability to operate independently, using initiative and good business judgment.
  • Capacity to absorb complex information then apply it accurately and quickly.
  • Experience and ability to build and maintain cross-departmental, multi-functional and collaborative relationships preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with business software applications including MS Outlook Suite (Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel,) and virtual communication tools required.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply on-line CRM application and social media resources to grow territory.
  • Strong communication expertise and effective time management
  • 1-2+ years’ sales or technical customer support experience in industry / technology or related field with high degree of complexity preferred
  • Validated excellence in oral, written, and presentation communications skills.

The salary range estimated for this position is $95,000 - $130,000 base compensation. This position will also be eligible to receive a variable bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
