As a Senior Human Resources Generalist, you will administer HR policies and programs, balancing employee advocacy and business operating needs. You’ll also provide comprehensive HR support to a designated client group in recruitment and retention of critical talent, continuous performance coaching and management, problem identification and resolution, and development for more effective leadership decision and communication skills.   • Assuring company policies are administered fairly and consistently
  • Handling worker’s compensation, first report of injury database and safety regulations process
  • Performing advanced employee relations functions
  • Conducting employee and supervisor training
  • Anticipating and planning for long-term human resource needs and trends
  • Coordinating the administration of all Leave of Absence programs and processes including transitional work and accommodations
  • Generating solutions and implementing with input from more senior HR teammates
  • Conducting complex/sensitive employee related investigations
You’ll provide guidance to management and employees on human resources issues; seldom are two days the same. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications
  • Experience: Human Resources Generalist experience 5+ years
  • Abilities: Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Can communicate orally and in writing in a clear manner and with all levels of management and company personnel. Can deal with the public in a professional manner. Can maintain confidentiality of information. Can make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure. Can prioritize and organize effectively. Can show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties in a timely manner. Can work independently
  • Education: Bachelor´s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Skills: Consultative and coaching skills. Analytical skills. Business Acumen. Project Management skills
  • Travel Ability: Office environment. Travel Required
  • Technical skills: PC skills and MS Office skills. Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and procedures. Knowledge of recruitment trends and technologies. Knowledge of state and federal wage and hour laws. Knowledge of staffing and employment practices. Knowledge of employee relations procedures and applicable law
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record within company required standards preferred
  • Certifications for Human Resource Professionals (PHR, SPHR) preferred
