Job Description

Talent Advisory Group has a client in Danbury, CT and Aurora areas of CO, and they are looking to add some amazing people to their synergistic team. We are currently seeking multiple Contracts Manager professionals. The company designs and develops space-based optical systems, payloads, and electronics. Hybrid in CO and onsite if in CT.


In this position, you will be responsible for performing full life-cycle Contract Management for a large portfolio of high value contracts.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Lead negotiations for major contracts
  • Negotiate and administer NDAs
  • Support Contract data input/entry into SAP
  • Support functional areas (i.e. Legal, Business Development, Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain etc.) by providing contract advice in support of proposals, agreements and other activities as required
  • Analyze and negotiate contracts received from the government and industry prime customers identifying areas of risk and developing negotiation strategies


Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience negotiating terms and conditions of the contracts agreements that will govern relationships (Prime and Sub)
  • Have a working knowledge of FFP/FPIF/ CPAF/CPIF/CPFF/T&M and hybrid contract types
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office products as well as business systems (i.e. SAP)
  • Ability to obtain US Government Top Secret Clearance.
  • Have a working knowledge of DPAS and Export Regulations
  • Possess excellent verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with various functional groups at all levels, both internal and external
  • Have demonstrated experience working both directly with the US government acquisition organizations as well as a supplier to the major aerospace prime contractors
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Detailed knowledge of FAR and DFARS requirements
  • BS or BA in an applicable field (business, legal, etc.) is required
