Responsibilities

IGT is the world leader in the design, development and manufacture of gaming products and systems. As IGT’s Gaming and Digital Betting organizations continue to grow there exists a new opportunity for a North America Collector/Dispute Coordinator, reporting to the North America Collection Manager in Reno, NV (Hybrid).


The position requires an individual who understands how to get things done in a large, complex organization through influence and collaboration, and has a broad business background that includes experience with deduction and dispute management in a fast-moving environment. It also requires the ability to understand how to improve the way things get done through effective partnering and process improvements while embracing the responsibilities of a trusted advisor. Responsibilities:


Collections and Credit Management

  • Support Cash Application by checking banking deposits daily to determine where Customer remit detail support is required, then action accordingly
  • Other Collection process support as needed to include sending Customer statements; reminder notices and calls; re-print sending of invoices, including third-party portals (Coupa and Ariba); and supporting other email exchanges/queues to capture invoice dispute/issues within GetPaid solution
  • Coordinate Collection hold releases with the Credit Department based off Customer’s payment practices and engagement history
  • Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments, and work to resolve collection issues, cash forecast short falls, and disputes raised
  • Assess risk and monitor exposure and performance of Customer accounts, complete Quarterly Bad Debt Risk Rating for assigned portfolio
  • Enforce IGT Credit & Collection policy as it relates to the Gaming and Digital Betting groups

Business Process Excellence Projects: Internal Partnership / Cross -Group Collaboration

  • Identify and communicate relevant information and trending to applicable IGT stakeholders
  • Coordinate disputed invoice process for North America Collections staff to capture, update, and work open invoice issues within GetPaid solution
  • Coordinate and drive weekly Collection; and Collection/Accounting calls where Dispute Report is utilized to discuss dispute status, next action, and owner across order to cash cycle
  • Responsible for running GetPaid Dispute reports, facilitating updates with staff, and uploading to Microsoft Teams sites
  • Job duties include implementing or facilitating process improvements, analyzing Customer account balances, and support for target setting and reporting
  • Ownership and/or assistance responsibilities in other projects as needed that support process improvement across business groups (globally)
  • Coordinate and schedule regular calls with Collections staff, and where necessary between Collections and Accounting team members to work towards resolving outstanding dispute issues
  • Drive North America Collections process with specific focus on disputed invoice support and resolution in partnership with Accounting, Sales, and other groups as required

Contacts

  • This position has frequent contact across all levels of management, including with Customer’s. Primary interaction is with Credit and Collection, Accounting, Finance, Sales Managers/Directors, Tax, Legal, and direct engagement with Customers

Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP credit and collections finance modules preferred
  • Familiarity with Customer 3rd party procurement solutions like Coupa and Ariba a plus
  • BS or BA in Business/Finance preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of credit and collections knowledge preferably in multinational company
  • Effective communication skills; team player and collaborator; energetic; ability to understand common business problems (Pricing, PO issues, invoice delivery) and resolve them in a team environment; organized and timely in responses
  • Strong intermediate Excel skills required
  • 1 to 3 years of project management experience preferred

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $53,800 - $129,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.


Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
