What You Need To Know


We are looking for a Senior Analyst, Business Planning to lead and support open-ended projects while serving as an HR data/reporting SME. With minimal guidance, provide quantitative and qualitative analysis to support HR business operations, planning, and development. Independently develop, test, and maintain reporting and analytics products that provide critical insights regarding our employees. Build all products in collaboration with peers to ensure scalability, integrity, and consistent data standards. This role is 100% work from home.

  • Pay Information: The salary range for this position is $72000-$95200. Note that the American Red Cross sets salary ranges aligned to a specific geographic location in which the work is performed. The stated salary range in this posting is an average. The specific salary information will be shared at the time of phone screening based upon your location and qualifications.

  • Conduct risk, resource, cost-benefit, variance, impact and/or other complex analyses. Develop metrics for and monitor performance of business unit, organization, initiatives and/or business operations.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
  • Encourage growth of the HR Reporting & Business Planning Analytics COE by conducting research, defining/documenting requirements for product needs, and building those products with a focus on repeatability and automation.
  • Develop complex modeling and reporting tools or other systems for monitoring and analyzing performance or data integrity.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Find and extract data from core HR systems (Workday, Service Now, Cornerstone) using available reporting and API capabilities. Develop, test, and maintain data transformations (Alteryx) to support ongoing reporting needs. Independently build reporting and analytics dashboards (Power BI) related to key HR and business processes.
  • Independently consult with internal customers to identify data needs and develop complex solutions and recommendations.
  • Recommend new or additional data standards that support the goal of data reliability and accuracy. Collaborate with stakeholders to minimize downstream impacts and maximize adoption of new and existing reporting products.
  • Provide program planning support through data analyses. Conduct research, business plan analyses and feasibility studies. Identify trends and develop recommendations for highly complex issues.
